Have your own dog training or service business and looking or a bit of help meeting annual goals? As a small business owner since 2008 (yoga studio, a bar and now dog-training) I like to think I am a “doula” of sorts for other small-business owners: here to help you navigate the strange world of entrepreneur-land with all its nooks and crannies. I’ve done everything from subscription-based brick and mortar businesses with high overhead, to more nimble side hustles that fit with a busy lifestyle, to even helping my husband expand his business to a world-wide customer-base.

I currently offer 3 packages: Biz Basics & Roadmap to Success Set-up and Maintenance packages geared more towards setting realistic goals and finding measurables to track (see below); I offer bespoke consulting services to meet your business needs. Dog Biz Doula Services

  • Biz Basics: Get Started Package

    Just getting started with your dog-training or other dog-service business? We'll walk you through a check-list of what you'll need to do to get up and running. From the nuts and bolts of where and how to file as an LLC (Limited Liability Company) or recommendations on insurance*, to logo design for your website and basic branding to get you up and running with business cards to start attracting clients.

    This package gets you 1, 90 minute "get to know you" consult, and 2, 60 minute follow-ups with up to 3 hours of design time on our end (for basic logo and business card creation, for example).

  • Roadmap to Success: Set-up Package

    This package gets you set up with our suite of tools for success. Together, we'll set annual and quarterly goals, as well as establish Key Performance Indicators, your annual budget (it's ok if you don't know your expenses yet) and move you forward on a Roadmap to Success.

    Plan for 3, 60-90 minute consults over the course of 1-2 months to get your business worksheet and trackers set up. Also plan for homework in between sessions (the less you know about your expenses and income, it may mean more homework on your end).

    This package works well with our continuing maintenance subscription of quarterly meetings and an annual review (sold separately & discount available if booked before our last Set-Up consult).

  • Roadmap to Success: Quarterly Check-Ins and Annual Review

    After you're all set with your Business Worksheet, KPI Tracker and Budget spreadsheet, we'll meet virtually every 3 months to check-in on your progress, assess goals and tweak the plan as needed. This package is billed every 3 months until canceled and includes a year-end annual review.
