These don’t have a super long chew time but are great when working on crate training or for puppies who might be teething and harder chews wouldn’t be of interest. They do have a fishy smell but it’s not unpleasant and doesn’t linger. Both our dogs seem to digest them well but we try to limit to 1 per day. You could easily cut with scissors to make them smaller, too, if needed.
